This is Sunny’s Science Fair project. She watered the one on the left with Sprite and the one on the right with water. Surprisingly the grass LOVED the water, and did not love the Sprite. I think the conclusion of the experiment is that grass has a very dissimilar taste in beverages than children.

I always loved science experiments like this, but only when the results were applied to people, and extrapolated to mean that the one that didn’t work for a plant was therefore bad for humans. Or the ones where they dissolve a nail in Coke. Because people are NOT nail OR grass, and while soda may not be the best thing for you, the contents of your stomach would dissolve a nail faster than the Coke, and eating lots of plant food would make you die.
